## Your answers before you request email

Unsubmitted answers stay in this browser tab’s session storage for up to 24 hours. We store only the question version, answers, step, and timestamp. If storage is unavailable, the check continues in memory. Restarting clears the assessment. We do not collect source code, credentials, customer data, or attachments.

## When you request a checklist or the PDF guide

We receive your email, optional first name and system stage, your eight answers (checklist requests only), assessment versions, request time, disclosure version, and limited campaign attribution. We use these to send the requested checklist or guide, operate the service, prevent abuse, and understand interest in consulting. The 8 Signs guide is attached to these emails as a PDF. Requesting a checklist or guide does not by itself subscribe you to anything. Delivery does not verify ownership of an email address.

## Optional notes from George

If you tick the notes box, we add your email and first name to a Resend audience so George can send occasional practical notes. Every note includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time. We do not run automated sales sequences. If you do not tick the box, you are never added to that list.

## Providers and abuse prevention

[Cloudflare](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/) provides hosting, D1 storage, and Turnstile abuse controls. [Resend](https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy) sends your requested checklist or guide, reports delivery, bounce, and complaint events, and stores the optional notes audience. The complete checklist is in the email body, with the guide as a PDF attachment; there are no public report tokens, advertising trackers, email tracking pixels, or open tracking.

We use short-lived hashes of the Cloudflare-provided source IP and recipient address for rate limits. Raw IP addresses are not stored in application tables. Suppression uses a separate stable keyed hash of a normalized address. Cloudflare and Resend may process additional service and security logs under their own policies.

## Aggregate measurement

We count landing views, quiz starts and completions, accepted checklist requests, article views, and booking clicks. A random tab-scoped session ID expires after 24 hours. We allow only page, quiz version, result band, CTA location, and sanitized campaign values. Individual answers and contact details are excluded. Counts are approximate. Booking clicks are intent signals, not confirmed bookings. Our structured application logs contain operational IDs, status, and safe error codes, not form contents; automatic invocation logging is disabled.

## How long information stays

Daily cleanup removes expired records and cancels queued mail when leads are deleted. A minimal address HMAC and bounce/complaint reason remain while needed to prevent unwanted mail. Provider email deletion is requested where supported. Backups and independent platform logs have their own retention; deletion is not immediate from every backup. The owner must verify configured platform log and backup periods before launch.
